The Limb Access and Mobility Program
The Limb Access and Mobility Program (LAMP) is a beautiful mix of expression of the love of Jesus through access to medical care and mobility. Put simply, our mission is to improve the world’s mobility and healthcare equality by providing prosthetic and rehabilitative care to individuals in countries with limited access to these services and to offer community outreach dance and art programs to improve mobility and expression. We have personally experienced the impact that the word of God can have when it is shared through the medium of dance or access to medical care and are excited to devote the next chapter of our lives to the furtherment of God’s kingdom.
LAMP will be launching globally in March, where we will begin the first part of our three part plan. We are so excited that you are interested in coming alongside us and walking in what God is doing in our lives.
Part 1: Launch
We have taken the leap of faith to leave the United States, putting in our resignations and extending our lease through February of 2027. After this time, we will be moving to Greenville, South Carolina as our base of operation in the United States.
During the first two months of the non-profit, we will be traveling for fundraising, moving, and completing a Spanish intensive in Antigua, Guatemala. We expect that around this time we will be receiving approval for our 501 c3 status for LAMP.
We are currently solidifying partnerships with non-profit organizations already operating in Guatemala. We will be walking alongside these organizations, learning and helping until we identify the need and the place where we will start our own location. We don’t know how long we will be walking with these organizations and learning, but are trusting that God will make it clear when it is time to move on.
Part 2: Prepare
Once we have identified the location and people that God has called us to help, we will begin our fundraising campaign and budgeting. We will continue to operate and partner with the existing organizations and launch our own medical clinic and center of the arts! God has already been building up the connections that we will need to step into this portion of our plan.
We will begin hosting short term missions teams during this time to allow them the opportunity to experience the Lord in Guatemala and to spread the love of Jesus to the people of Guatemala and beyond.
Part 3: Spread
We don’t know where God will call us to spread to, but we will listen with an open heart and know that he has more in store for us than we could ever dream. Stay tuned for more.
Your word is a lamp for my feet,
a light on my path.Psalm 119:105
